Sugar Donut Muffins



Sugar Donut Muffins are a delightful treat that combines the flavors of a classic sugar donut with the convenience of a muffin. They're perfect for breakfast or as a sweet snack any time of day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar for coating
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon for coating

Instructions:

Warm your oven up to 350 F 175C and put paper liners in a muffin tin

Whisk the flour, baking powder, salt, and 1/2 cup of sugar together in a bowl

Put the milk, vanilla extract, sour cream, vegetable oil, eggs, and melted butter in a different bowl

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed

Be careful not to mix too much

Fill up each muffin tin cup about two-thirds of the way to the top with batter

Put the muffins in an oven that has already been heated for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into one comes out clean

Put 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl

Mix them together while the muffins are still warm

Spread the cinnamon-sugar mix out evenly on each muffin by rolling it in it

On a wire rack, let the muffins cool all the way down before serving
