Sesame Shrimp Lettuce Wraps
Sesame Shrimp Lettuce Wraps are a delicious dish made with sweet and savory shrimp marinated in a sauce, green onions, cilantro, and fragrant sesame seeds on top. The dish is wrapped in crisp butter lettuce leaves. These wraps are full of flavor and look great for a quick and healthy dinner. They're also light and refreshing.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated
Instructions:
Add honey, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to a bowl
Mix them together
Toss the shrimp around in the bowl after adding them
Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes
Set the pan on medium-high heat
Place the shrimp in the pan and cook for two to three minutes on each side, until they are fully cooked
Add sesame seeds to cooked shrimp and toss to coat
Take the shrimp off the heat and add the chopped cilantro and green onions
Put the shrimp mix into butter lettuce leaves
Serve right away and enjoy!
