Bacon Wrapped Cream Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375F 190C

In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper

Cut a slit in each chicken breast to create a pocket

Stuff each pocket with the cream cheese mixture

Wrap each stuffed chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, securing with toothpicks if necessary

Place the wrapped chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and bacon is crispy

Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving
